Reverse Tuck Boxes

Reverse tuck boxes are very similar to straight tuck boxes, except for the closing panels. One closing panel is attached to the back of the box, while the other closing panel is attached to the front. They fold in opposite directions. The slit locks from each end of the box keep the flaps in place and prevent the box from opening.

Reverse Tuck Boxes

Advantages

The main advantage of reverse tuck cartons is the lower manufacturing cost. Although they are very similar to the straight tuck version, they are laid out in a way that allows getting more boxes out of a piece of paperboard. Since less paperboard is used, the prices go lower.

Some more reasons why a reverse tuck box could be a good choice for you:

  • It opens and closes in a very intuitive and familiar way
  • It works with any embellishment
  • It is available in all sizes and shapes

Reverse tuck boxes are among the most popular choices for brands in all niches. They are simply efficient, budget-friendly, and easy to customize.

Common Industry and Product Uses

Because of their versatile layout, reverse tuck boxes are a good option for most niches. The closure offers optimal protection for light and medium weight products, making them perfect for:

  • Cosmetic Packaging
  • Makeup Packaging
  • Perfume Packaging
  • Soap Packaging
  • Bath Bomb Packaging
  • Confectionery Packaging
  • Eliquid Packaging
  • Vape Cartridge Packaging
